You think that was bad, you should have seen this year's. I think its interesting that this thing happens almost always in sync with prom night almost every year. All kinds of ugly things happen here when the sun goes down, in the last hour before closing. I'm a resident here, and I've had property damaged and vandalized, not to mention stolen or broken into. I watch the cars with the kids come in just before closing and hear about what happened to who the next day. If you value your life and health, don't come here after 10:30pm unless you have a club or a gun. The gang-banger wannabes and trouble making teens are walking the streets then, not to mention the many drunken retards from every conceivable walk of trashy life.

Simply put, It's nothing but a drunken mass... of the great unwashed masses...

Sad.

Erin and I went to a wine festival there a few months back and had a great time. We had never been to Old Towne Spring, so there was also a certain novelty that had us in awe.

Commercial? Certainly. Overpriced? Maybe. Worth a trip on a beautiful spring Saturday? Without question.

Although tempting, your description "The air was thick with alcohol, urine and trash" may be enough to keep us away from next year's festivities.

Thank you for the perspective.
